Having struggled with acne for years, all through my teens and having tried every lotion, potion and pill on the planet, I thought having clear, acne-free skin was never going to be achievable for me. It was only when I came across this high frequency wand that my skin drastically improved...

*Please note my case of acne is classed as 'severe' and prescribed medication was taken along side the use of the high frequency wand. The use of the wand along side my medication cut the healing time of my spots and scars right down. What is a High Frequency Wand?

The High Frequency Wand is considered one of the most effective devices for tackling acne and fine lines and wrinkles. Our high frequency wand uses two different kinds of high frequency electrodes, which can help treat acne and aging. Argon gas (violet light) typically treats acne and oily skin types, whereas the Neon gas (red/orange light) can treat signs of aging including fine lines and wrinkles.

Who shouldn't use a High Frequency Wand?

Contraindications specific for High Frequency:

If you have / are:

• Epilepsy
• Heart Conditions
• Pregnancy 
  
• Metal Plates / Pins
• Cancer within the last 3 years
• Thrombosis 
• Diabetes
• Recent Botox or Fillers (recommended to wait at least two weeks).
• Recent use of retinol or acids.
• Recently taken roaccutane.
• If you experience sensitivity on your face.

Side Effects of High Frequency:

Side effects of using the High Frequency Wand are mild. Temporary redness and warmth of the treated area are normal and will subside within a few hours. In the unlikely event anything unusual occurs, stop using the device immediately and seek medical advice.

Storage and Cleaning:

When not using the wand, ensure it's unplugged and stored in its original packaging.

To clean the head attachments, simply use a disinfectant fluid / tablet with lukewarm water to soak the head attachments in. Rinse well and dry with a gentle towel, cloth or paper.
